WHY CHOOSE US

Why Businesses Work with Pritts Horizon Marketing

We're not a general-purpose agency. No social media packages. No brand mood boards. No billboard campaigns. This work — contractor lead generation and local visibility — is what we've built around.

We write content that reflects the trade

Our copy reads like it was written by someone who understands the difference between a flat roof and a low-slope TPO system — or why a dock builder's season in the Grand Strand looks nothing like one on a freshwater lake in Tennessee. That's what makes content rank and convert.

We build organic systems, not ad dependency

Paid ads are a faucet. The moment you stop paying, the water stops. Organic search is a well. It takes longer to build, but once it's producing, it holds without a recurring ad spend attached to keep it running.

One contractor per market, per niche

If we're already working with a roofer in your city, we'll say so on the first call. We don't build competing systems for the same trade in the same market. If your market is open, we'll tell you that too.

OUR FEEDBACKS

What Clients Are Saying

Owner/Operator

Roofing Company in Myrtle Beach, SC

"Before working with Pritts Horizon, we were paying for leads that three other contractors had already called. Now the phone rings with people who searched for our services specifically. The difference in close rate is night and day."

Practice Manager

Medical Office in Chicago, IL

"Our GBP was pulling customers to an old address and we didn't even know it. Within a few weeks of the citation cleanup and profile rebuild, we were showing up in the Map Pack for searches we'd been invisible on for years."

Owner/Operator

Drywall Company in Colorado Springs, CO

"They told us upfront what the timeline would look like and didn't oversell the speed. By month seven, organic leads were outpacing what we'd been spending on Google Ads every month. That's the result we needed."

WORK SHOWCASE

The Foundation Work That Moves the Needle

Decorative shelf with pink “Smile” sign, blue candles, and glass jars on a white cabinet

A dental practice in Conway had a fully built-out website with decent traffic. But their GBP was pulling customers to an old address. Three phone numbers were live across their directory listings. Top service pages loaded in over six seconds on mobile.

None of it was obvious from the inside. Google saw all of it. Fixing that foundation moved their Map Pack visibility faster than any new content would have. That's the work. It's not flashy. It's the kind of thing that either gets done right or quietly costs you leads every single month.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What's the difference between your two service lines?

Exclusive Lead Generation is built for contractors who want a dedicated inbound system — service pages, location pages, and SEO content built around their trade and service area. Every lead that comes through it is exclusive to them.

Local Business Rank Optimization is built for any local business that has some online presence but isn't converting it into calls. It covers three specific areas: Google Business Profile optimization, landing page performance, and business citation cleanup. It's foundation work — fixing what's quietly costing you leads right now.

Some clients use both. Most start with whichever problem is most urgent.

  • Do you work with contractors outside of South Carolina?

Yes. The lead generation work is built for contractors nationally. We've built systems for trades across multiple states. Geography doesn't limit the work — what matters is whether your market is available and whether the search demand is there to build around.

Local Business Rank Optimization is currently focused on the Myrtle Beach area and Horry County, with some exceptions. Ask us on the first call if you're outside that area.

  • How long before I start seeing results?

For the lead generation system, the honest answer is six to nine months before organic inbound calls start hitting consistently. That's not a hedge — that's how long it takes to build topical authority in a competitive local market and get Google treating your content as a reliable source.

For Local Business Rank Optimization — especially citation cleanup and GBP work — visibility improvements can show up faster, sometimes within a few weeks of the foundation being corrected.

We tell you the realistic timeline on the first call, not after you've signed.

  • Do you work with more than one contractor in the same market?

No. One contractor per trade, per service area. If we're already working with a roofer in your city, we won't take another roofing client there. That's not a marketing line — it's how the model works. Exclusive leads stop being exclusive the moment we build a competing system in the same market.

We check availability before anything else and give you a straight answer.

  • What if I'm already running Google Ads? Do I need to stop?

No. Paid ads and organic search aren't competing strategies — they serve different roles. Ads can keep leads coming in while the organic system builds. Some clients run both simultaneously during the build phase and scale back on ad spend once the organic system is producing consistently.

What we'd look at is whether your ad spend is actually closing or just generating clicks to a page that doesn't convert. That's worth knowing before you spend another month on it.

  • Can a contractor use both service lines?

Yes. If you want the lead generation system AND want us cleaning up your GBP and citations at the same time, we can structure that. In most cases, the foundation work actually accelerates the lead system's performance — consistent NAP data and a strong GBP reinforce the organic content signals.

We'll map out what makes sense for your situation on the strategy call.

  • What does onboarding look like?

After the strategy call, if we move forward, we start with a full audit — your current GBP, your citation landscape, your existing web presence, and your competitive market. That gives us a clear picture of what's working, what's broken, and what the build-out needs to look like.

From there we move into content and technical work. You're not handed off to a junior account manager. Lucas leads the work directly from kickoff through delivery.

  • Do you require long-term contracts?

We don't lock clients into contracts they can't get out of. That said, this work takes time to produce results — and clients who bail at month three before the system has had time to build don't get the outcome they came for. We're upfront about that timeline before you commit.

The goal is to build something that holds long-term. That requires a realistic runway on both sides.

  • What trades do you build lead systems for?

We've built systems for roofing, drywall, hardwood flooring, window installation, siding, kitchen and bathroom remodeling, epoxy flooring, dock building, painting, and related trades.

Don't see your trade listed? Reach out. If we've worked in adjacent markets, we can likely build a system for yours.

  • Why isn't my Google Business Profile showing up in the Map Pack?

Usually one of a few reasons: the profile is incomplete or has inconsistent information, your business name or address doesn't match what's showing across other directories, the category selection isn't aligned with how buyers are actually searching, or there's not enough recent activity on the profile to signal to Google that it's actively managed.

Any one of those can suppress Map Pack visibility. We audit all of it before recommending a fix.

  • What makes your content different from what a general agency produces?

Most agency content is written to fill a page. It's generic, keyword-stuffed, and reads the same whether it's for a roofer in Myrtle Beach or a flooring company in Phoenix.

We write content that's specific to the trade, the geography, and the buyer. That means referencing the actual climate challenges in your market, the specific materials and systems your customers ask about, and the real objections buyers have before they pick up the phone. That's what earns rankings — and what earns trust from the person reading the page.

  • How do I know if my market is available?

Ask us. It's the first thing we check and the first thing we tell you. Book a free strategy call and we'll look it up before the conversation goes anywhere else. If your market is taken, we'll say so and you won't have wasted more than a few minutes. If it's open, we'll walk you through exactly what the opportunity looks like.

We're a focused, specialized team — not a large agency with rotating account managers. When you work with us, you're working directly with the people building your system. That's intentional.
